Running

Food, Glorious Food

Food is a type of fuel. Just like a car needs the right sort of petrol to make it run properly, your body needs the right sort of food to make it work at its best. A healthy diet will include lots of wholemeal bread, grains and potatoes, and plenty of fruit and vegetables. Fish, meat and diary products are good in smaller quanitites. Items containing fat and sugar should be eating as little as possible. You will also need to eat a variety of food because no single food will be able to provide all the nutrients you need.
